Devils Prevail, as Quarter-Finals Goes to the Wire Tuesday, November 2nd , 2049 The New Jersey Devils and Niagara Falls Phantoms held nothing back in an entertaining Quarter-Finals that went the distance. In the end, it will be New Jersey advancing to the Semi-Finals, after a 5-1 triumph in the final game at Niagara Falls Casino & Resort, to wrap up the series 4-3. The Devils players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Phantoms. Adonis Jones was named series MVP for New Jersey. For the series, Jones hit .333 with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Semi-Finals matchups and schedule will be announced after the Quarter-Finals finishes. |
