Goldeyes Move on to World Series Tuesday, November 9th , 2049 The Winnipeg Goldeyes have booked their place in the World Series. By a score of 7-0, the club ousted the New Jersey Devils in the Semi-Finals tonight at Winnipeg International Baseball & Gold Complex. Winnipeg won the series by a 4-1 margin. The series MVP was Goldeyes left fielder Mike Berzins. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Semi-Finals finishes. |
