Jarrett Gets Award for Relief Work Saturday, November 27th , 2049 Brian Jarrett said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 21 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Paris Cubs rising star has won the Eastern League Reliever of the Year Award for 2049. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.61 ERA over 95 innings. He also had 3 saves in 66 relief appearances, 129 strikeouts and only 26 walks. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 30.
