Top EL Reliever Honored Tuesday, November 24th , 2048 At the young age of only 19, Mo Vaughan has been named the Eastern League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2048. The future appears bright for the Trois-Riveres Aigles relief ace, who captured the award with 19 saves in 33 relief appearances, 143 strikeouts in 101.2 innings and a record of 6-3 to go with his 1.42 ERA. He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. David Lopez of the Hamilton Cardinals finished second in voting, while Curtis Melchert of the Winnipeg Goldeyes finished third.
