Baconneck Hurt, Listed Day-to-Day Tuesday, July 5th , 2050 The Omaha Storm Chasers received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place left fielder Bill Baconneck on the injured list. During yesterday's game against the Rochester Red Wings, he was injured running the bases. The injury, however, is not serious. The Omaha star performer is listed as day-to-day with knee inflammation. This season Baconneck is batting at a .276 clip with 7 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
