Colorado Springs SP Hector Aguado Injured Monday, July 18th , 2050 It took the Colorado Springs team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher Hector Aguado won't simply play through elbow tendinitis after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's 51s-Sky Sox game. At first, it looked like Aguado might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 4 weeks. This year Aguado has made 19 starts, thrown 122 innings, fanned 96 batters and walked 21. His won-lost record is 5-8 with a 3.76 ERA. |
