Bad News for Galvan and Reno Friday, July 29th , 2050 Reno second baseman Jesus Galvan has suffered a setback in his recovery from a torn ligament in his thumb. According to Aces officials, he will be out of action for 3 months. "Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Galvan will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters. Jesus Galvan is expected to undergo surgery in Reno(Nevada) tomorrow. Galvan is batting .342 this year with 16 home runs, 43 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 91 hits in 266 at-bats. |
