Herrera Big Deal in Nashville: Hits for Cycle

Nashville's David Herrera accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game.
For the day, Herrera finished 5-for-5 with 7 runs batted in and 3 runs scored and helped the Sounds knock off the Tacoma Rainiers 14-9 at Herschel Greer Stadium.
"I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Herrera told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout."
David Herrera singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ruben Raya in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.
Herrera's current batting average stands at .282 and he has chalked up 10 home runs and 45 RBIs.
