Arai Snares AL Top Batter Award in July Monday, August 1st , 2050 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Kazuki Arai has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Omaha Storm Chasers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in July, which have garnered him the nod as the American League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .364 average with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Presently Arai is batting .292 with 94 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 33 runs and scored 40 times. |
