AL Star of the Week Named Monday, September 5th , 2050 The American League has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Ken Postlethwaite, third baseman of the Omaha Storm Chasers. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .409 pace to win the award. Postlethwaite went 9-for-22 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and scored 6 times. This year Postlethwaite is hitting .259 with 6 home runs and 43 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .326 clip and scored 44 runs. |
