Bad News for Reno, Pizano Injured Wednesday, September 7th , 2050 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Oklahoma City Dodgers, Aces starting pitcher Julio Pizano was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 weeks with an elbow strain. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Reno skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. His record for the year is 4-3 in 10 starts and Pizano has a 1.79 ERA. |
