Cubs Buried - Out of Playoffs Friday, September 9th , 2050 There would have never been more than a tiny glimmer of hope, but today even that is gone. The Iowa Cubs have been officially eliminated from playoff contention. Iowa last appeared in the postseason in 2041. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 23 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cubs have only made the playoffs once. Iowa has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
