Gordon Holds Charlotte Scoreless Tuesday, September 20th , 2050 It wasn't easy but David Gordon made it look that way. Gordon silenced the Charlotte Knights, 2-0, in a Rochester Red Wings triumph at Frontier Field today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Gordon said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." In 14 starts this year Gordon has fashioned a 6-8 record and a 2.64 ERA. |
