Lewis Tosses 8-0 Shutout Friday, September 23rd , 2050 Columbus's Paul Lewis brought his best stuff to Huntington Park today, shutting down and shutting out the Toledo Mud Hens 8-0. He racked up 10 strikeouts, surrendered 4 hits and issued 1 walk on his way to the victory. "We barely made him work at all," Toledo manager Pheart Hed said later. "Columbus could probably pitch him again tomorrow if they wanted." For the season Lewis has logged 12 wins and 5 losses and struck out 154 batters in 151 innings while compiling a 2.44 ERA. |
