Bisons Prevail, as Wildcard Series Goes to the Wire Saturday, October 1st , 2050 International League pundits who figured the Wildcard Series between the Buffalo Bisons and Nashville Sounds would go the distance were right on the mark. The two teams battled back and forth in a spirited series, with Buffalo coming out on top thanks to a 3-2 win in the deciding game at Coca-Cola Field, to wrap things up 2-1. "You get to the last game and anything can happen, so we're overjoyed to come out on top," said Bisons center fielder Bran Stark, who was named series MVP. For the series, Stark had 4 hits for a .364 average. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Division Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes. |
