Round Rock Southpaw Tosses 5-0 Shutout Tuesday, October 4th , 2050 Jaden Asante of the Round Rock Express humiliated the Columbus Clippers at Dell Diamond today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 6 hits. "He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Columbus manager Khalil Fobbs, after the game. Asante whiffed 7 and walked 2 in the 5-0 win. "If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Asante said. "I was making good pitches the entire game." In pitching stats this season Asante has rung up 18 wins and 7 losses in 30 games. He has an ERA of 3.02 and has fanned 166 batters in 208.2 innings. |
