Friday, October 14th , 2050
Depending on your loyalties, the Division Championship was either thrilling or heartbreaking.
The series went down to its final game, with the Gwinnett Braves and the Albuquerque Isotopes giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Braves came out on top, winning 6-5 at Coolray Field today to take the series 4-3.
"We're lucky to be going into the Conference Championship," said Gwinnett pitcher Bob Melley. "If all the series are like this, it'll definitely be an entertaining postseason."
Melley earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .360 average, with 2 home runs, 6 RBI and 3 runs scored.
The Conference Championship matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Championship finishes.
