NL Best Mound Performer Named Monday, November 14th , 2050
The 2050 National League Outstanding Pitcher Award has gone to Gwinnett Braves ace Elijah Daniels after a stellar 17-1 season.
In 21 starts he piled up 168.2 innings, 110 strikeouts, 34 walks and a 1.55 ERA. Daniels held opposing hitters to a .206 batting average.
He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 30. Joe Bradford of the Memphis Redbirds finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Eduardo Baez of the Gwinnett Braves finished third with 1 first place vote.
