Tuesday, November 15th , 2050
The manager of the Durham Bulls said he thinks Alex Zamora is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the catcher's 2050 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the American League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .323 batting average and a .414 on-base percentage this year. In 108 games he piled up 120 hits, 29 doubles, 2 triples, 7 home runs, 58 RBIs and 52 runs scored.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 30. David Ward of the Durham Bulls finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Trevor Mock of the Round Rock Express finished third with 4 first place votes.
