Bad News for Ryland and Columbus Monday, November 21st , 2050 The Columbus Clippers announced today that Heath Ryland would be missing for longer than expected as the 25-year-old reliever recovers from a torn labrum. "Heath had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Clippers GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Ryland would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 12 months more recovery time." Heath Ryland is expected to undergo surgery in Columbus(Ohio) tomorrow. A check of Ryland's career stats shows he has 1 save with a 5-3 record and a 2.70 ERA. |
