Chattanooga Dazed, Geraci Gets No-Hitter Monday, June 13th , 2050 It was a fantastic day for Frisco RoughRiders starter Chris Geraci and a lousy day for the Chattanooga Lookouts. The Frisco hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Lookouts, as the RoughRiders cruised to a 7-0 win. When it was all over, Geraci was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Geraci said later. He rang up 5 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Chattanooga down at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. In the current season in 14 starts, Chris Geraci has a record of 5-5 with 68 strikeouts in 100.1 innings and a 2.78 ERA. |
