Jenkins Guns Down Baysox Friday, June 24th , 2050 Dan Jenkins made it look easy today. The Portland Sea Dogs right-hander shut down the Bowie Baysox 6-0 on 2 hits at Prince George's Stadium today. For the game, Jenkins recorded 6 strikeouts and no walks. "It was a good team effort today," Jenkins said. "I pitched well, guys behind me had some nice plays and we put up enough runs to go home on time." This year Jenkins has recorded a 8-4 mark. In 14 starts he has fanned 69 batters in 88.2 innings with a 1.93 ERA. |
