League Issues 4-Game Suspensions for Brawl Saturday, July 16th , 2050 Hot tempers flared and a few punches were thrown at the Montgomery and Chattanooga game yesterday and ended up with two players ejected. Rich Matthews of the Biscuits and Jason McCaw of the Lookouts have now been reprimanded and issued 4-game suspensions by the league commissioner for their parts in the fracas. Matthews is hitting at a .262 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 23 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has played 74 games for the Biscuits. So far this season McCaw has 14 saves in 37 relief appearances with a 8-5 mark and 2.96 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .194 against him. |
