The Reading Fightin Phils pitcher went the distance, rang up 8 strikeouts, walked 0 and held the Rockies to 4 hits to garner the win. "He just had us in his thrall," Colorado (EL) manager Andrew Heaney said later. "We couldn't put anything together against him." To date this year Yoshida has compiled a 4-6 mark with a 2.61 ERA in 14 starts. |
