Players Suspended in Biscuits-RubberDucks Donnybrook Monday, August 22nd , 2050 Luis Verduzco of the Montgomery Biscuits and John Roe of the Akron RubberDucks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Biscuits-RubberDucks game at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Verduzco and Roe will begin serving them soon. So far this season Verduzco has 11 home runs and a .281 batting average. This season Roe has compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.21 ERA. |
