Super Swinger -- Fernandez Slams 5 Hits Saturday, September 3rd , 2050 It was a magical day at the plate for San Antonio Missions third baseman Hector Fernandez. The 27-year-old Fernandez helped lift San Antonio to a 6-3 win over the Tulsa Drillers today at ONEOK Field. Fernandez smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats to spark his club to victory. Hector Fernandez doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Francisco Guzman in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season Fernandez has hit at a .266 clip with 48 RBIs, 10 home runs and 32 runs scored. He has played in 113 games. |
