Barnett Receives Updated Diagnosis Thursday, September 8th , 2050 Obviously disappointed, John Barnett confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Northwest Arkansas reliever offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 24-year-old Barnett suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament on 09/04/2050 and has been out of action since. So far this season Barnett has 23 saves in 43 relief appearances with a 1-5 record and 3.24 ERA. |
