Altoona Eliminated from Playoff Contention Tuesday, September 13th , 2050 Not even the most diehard Altoona Curve fan thought the team had much chance at the playoffs this year. But now even the faintest hopes have been put to rest, as the Curve were mathematically eliminated from the postseason hunt today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2045. In total, the Curve have missed the playoffs 23 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Curve have missed the playoffs 7 times. |
