Playoffs Won't Happen for Blue Wahoos Wednesday, September 14th , 2050 Any hopes of a playoff berth for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos this season were already a long shot at best. But even the longshot hopes are now gone, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Pensacola last appeared in the postseason in 2043. This is their 7th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 30 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Blue Wahoos have only made the playoffs once. |
