Title Captured - National League West Division Won by Mobile Sunday, September 18th , 2050 The Mobile BayBears are champions of the National League West Division, but don't plan the parade quite yet. "It's a nice accomplishment, but we haven't done anything until we win the World Series," said right fielder Ron Mills. "We're going to celebrate this for sure, but the real celebration is still to come for fans in Mobile." The club's record currently sits at 101-42. It is the team's 6th division title and they will be seeking the franchise's 1st Eastern League championship. Team manager Ryan O'Hearn said he plans to take some time to celebrate the division title, but then it's "back to work" for members of the team and coaching staff. |
