Frisco Sits Atop American League West Division Tuesday, September 20th , 2050 They may have won the American League West Division easily, but that didn't stop members of the Frisco RoughRiders from celebrating joyously when the clinch became official. "It doesn't matter if you're one game ahead, or 100 games ahead, it still feels amazing to be division champs, especially in the American League West Division," said starting pitcher Chris Geraci. "This is where you want to be from the get go when you start each year." The smiles on the faces of the Frisco players stretched ear-to-ear as they embraced each other in bear hugs, while yelling, singing, chanting and even drinking in their clubhouse, late into the night. It is the 25th division title for the club and they will now be vying for the 8th Eastern League championship in team history. |
