Gareth Cutts was a calming influence out of the Harrisburg Senators bullpen this season.

His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the National League Reliever of the Year for 2050.

The Newcastle, South Africa native won the award with 7 saves in 54 relief appearances, 66 strikeouts in 66.2 innings and a record of 5-5 to go with his 1.08 ERA.

He received 29 first place votes out of a possible 30. Jorge Aguilar of the Springfield Cardinals finished second in voting, while Mike Yorke of the Jacksonville Suns finished third.
