McCullough Batters Palm Beach for 5 Hits Sunday, January 16th , 2050 Ethan McCullough was sizzling at the plate today. In a game played at Roger Dean Stadium, the Winston-Salem catcher blistered the Palm Beach Cardinals for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 4-1 victory. "McCullough was too tough to get out today," Cardinals skipper Clancy Wilkins said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ethan McCullough singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. For the season McCullough is batting .388 with 38 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 17 times and batted in 25. |
