Quakes Come up Short of Playoffs Monday, January 17th , 2050 The bid by the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for a postseason berth came to a close today. The club has been mathematically eliminated from the 2049 playoffs, and team manager Nick McMahon said players on the team "are taking it hard." Rancho Cucamonga last appeared in the postseason in 2047. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 27 times in their 34-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Quakes have made the playoffs 5 times. |
