Mudcats Dominate, Sweep Division Series Monday, January 24th , 2050 Despite the best efforts of Brian Puccio, the Carolina Mudcats have won the Division Series. The Stockton Ports standout was named series MVP, even though his team lost to Carolina 11-6 in the final game, and dropped the series 3-0. "Hats off to them, they deserve to be moving on," Puccio said at Banner Island Ballpark after being awarded his MVP trophy. "I just wish I could trade this trophy in for a chance at the World Series." For their part, the Mudcats celebrated long into the night, as they are now set to move on to the Championship Series. The Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
