Dill Tosses Shutout Against Lake Elsinore Friday, January 28th , 2050 The bats were ice cold today for the Lake Elsinore Storm at Stater Bros. Stadium. High Desert Mavericks starter Dan Dill kept the Storm cold all day, shutting them out in a 4-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 29-year-old hurler allowed 5 hits while striking out 3 and walking 1. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Dill admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." Up to now Dill has recorded a record of 6-3. In 9 starts he has fanned 79 batters in 74 innings with a 3.16 ERA. |
