Injury Setback for Flying Squirrels Poirier Tuesday, February 1st , 2050 It was learned today in Richmond that starting pitcher Dan Poirier would miss more time because his recovery from a strained abdominal muscle was not going as well as expected. The Flying Squirrels, however, were quick to relay that the setback did not seem to be serious and that Poirier would only miss 2 weeks more. For the season Poirier has logged 5 wins and 1 loss and struck out 71 batters in 48.2 innings while compiling a 2.40 ERA. |
