They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but in the case of Brian Ramirez of the High Desert Mavericks, you don't have to - his old tricks worked just fine in 2049.

The 36-year-old veteran turned in a sparkling performance and has won the A Division Reliever of the Year.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Oscar Alvarado of the Lynchburg Hillcats finished second in voting, while Jose Esteban of the Lynchburg Hillcats finished third.
