Strickland Electric in 12-0 Win Thursday, December 1st , 2050 It wasn't easy but Jim Strickland made it look that way. Strickland silenced the Winston-Salem Dash, 12-0, in a Brevard County Manatees triumph at BB&T Ballpark today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Strickland said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 2 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." |
