Tetzlaff Sizzles, Winston-Salem Fizzles Monday, December 12th , 2050 Ken Tetzlaff hurled a fine game for the High Desert Mavericks at Stater Bros. Stadium today, holding the Winston-Salem Dash to 2 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," High Desert manager Lu-shan Zhào said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The right-hander had 17 strikeouts and no walks in the 10-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Winston-Salem manager Sean Nolin said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game." |
