Brady Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, December 23rd , 2049 It was a sensational day at the plate for Brad Brady as he led the charge to a 16-0 win over the JetHawks. The Rancho Cucamonga third baseman was pure misery for the Lancaster pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Brady put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Daniel Montano, manager for the JetHawks, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Brad Brady singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Kuaika Anakala in the 8th. This season Brady is batting at a .388 clip with 2 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
