Hot Rods Walker Sizzles with Cycle Sunday, May 15th , 2050 Khalil Walker of the Bowling Green Hot Rods had an outstanding game against the Shorebirds. His 4-hit day included a cycle and 5 runs batted in as Bowling Green picked up a 11-4 victory at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. "My bat felt great, I was seeing the ball well and I found some gaps," he said. "As a hitter, it's all you can ask for." Khalil Walker singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Dave Patenaude in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th. This year Walker has batted at a .266 pace with 38 hits, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 18 times. |
