Vaughan Humbles Lake County, 6-0 Wednesday, May 25th , 2050 Mo Vaughan was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Lake County Captains on 2 hits. "He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Lake County manager Andrew Korman after the 6-0 loss to the Bowling Green Hot Rods. Vaughan finished with 7 strikeouts and 3 walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, Bowling Green manager Richard Hauser said Vaughan "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off." Vaughan has no saves in no relief appearances this season with a 1-6 record and 6.35 ERA. |
