Ming and Guzman Suspended for Free-for-All Monday, June 27th , 2050 Gary Ming of Fort Wayne and Francisco Guzman of Great Lakes were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Ming will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Guzman was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Ming is batting .314 this season in 58 games with 5 home runs, 33 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 207 at-bats. Crunching the numbers on Guzman for the year, he has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 6-1 won-lost mark and 1.93 ERA. In pitching 70 innings, he has totaled 76 strikeouts and 21 walks. |
