Chiefs Daniel Strikes out 18 Cubs Friday, August 19th , 2050 It was a 18-K day for Craig Daniel at Four Winds Field at Coveleski Stadium today, as the Peoria pitcher put on a show to beat the South Bend Cubs 12-0. Daniel had his good stuff and good location and that was good enough to chalk up a Chiefs victory. He gave up 2 hits in the game and issued no walks in a strong performance. On his stats sheet for the year Daniel shows a 3-3 record, 9 starts, 63 innings, 57 strikeouts and a 2.57 ERA. |
