Landim 5-for-5 Against Kernels Sunday, August 21st , 2050 Hickory Crawdads third baseman Edgar Landim really lit up the Cedar Rapids Kernels with a 5-hit barrage today at L.P. Frans Stadium -- a performance that sparked the Crawdads to a 16-2 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Edgar Landim hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. To date Landim has chalked up a .243 average with 14 home runs, driven in 58 runs and scored 41 times. |
