Power Buried - Out of Playoffs Friday, August 26th , 2050 Josh Truell said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the West Virginia Power after they missed the Midwest League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. West Virginia last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 35-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Power have made the playoffs 6 times. |
