August's AL Batter of Month Award Announced Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Beloit's Moses Brokken wowed sportswriters in August with an award-winning performance. For his standout play he was voted the American League Batter of the Month. He rang up a .219 batting average with 11 home runs, 20 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He also had 17 walks and a .348 on-base percentage. Presently Brokken is batting .220 and has collected 27 home runs, 51 RBIs, .312 OBP and scored 45 runs. |
