AL Premier Pitcher is Clinton's Seaborn Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Joe Seaborn really put his best foot forward in August with 6 wins and no losses and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month honors in the American League. When he got the start for the Clinton LumberKings, it was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 37 innings of work, Seaborn limited opposing batters to 16 base hits and a .131 batting average. He notched 48 strikeouts, issued 10 walks and had a 1.46 ERA. In 13 starts this season Seaborn has rung up a 9-2 record and a 1.70 ERA. |
