Harry Christopher Hurt, Out for Year Monday, September 5th , 2050 The Lexington Legends were dealt a severe blow when Harry Christopher was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Beloit Snappers. After the game, the team trainer reported Christopher might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 29-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a sprained ankle. They indicated it would take Christopher at least 4-5 weeks to heal. Currently Christopher has a record of 2-6 with 76 strikeouts and 20 walks in 80.2 innings and a 3.35 ERA. |
